Pashinyan admits that if  fightings continued, Armenia would completely collapse

If the fightings continued in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, Armenia would completely collapse, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a live broadcast on Facebook, AzVision.az reports.

Armenian PM highlighted importance of the agreement signed with the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan in terms of preventing a complete bankruptcy stating that the military leadership supported it.

"Khankendi was left defenseless, and if the fighting continued, Khankendi, Khojavend and Askeran would be probably lost. Also, our defensive lines up to the seventh line could be besieged and thousands of soldiers could be killed if they were under siege. The result would be a complete collapse. This decision was made based on this assessment”, Pashinyan added.
